Should We Stay or Should We Go? Managing Your Meeting When a Controversial Law is Enacted in Your Host City
Effective advocacy is a daily activity. In today’s world of constant change, it is most effective when it comes from the heart. We are faced with issues more now than ever.  How do we reconcile our personal beliefs from what is current law? How do we do right by our organizations and members when booking meetings. It is critical to have a sustained, vocal and noticeable presence. HB2, religious freedoms, guns, social responsibility/environmental issues, inclusion and fairness.  How, as meeting professionals, do we reconcile our association’s policies with our personal beliefs and laws in a city where we plan to meet?  You can be part of that presence and therefore, you can be part of the effort to use advocacy as a tool for facilitating change by creating awareness and understanding.
Join us for a dialogue that won’t end when the session ends. It’s only the beginning.

Outsourcing, Is It Right For You?
Is outsourcing right for your organization? Learn about outsourcing and the services that can be provided, while determining if your organization needs a “full package” or a la cart services. How to Work with In-House and Outside Third Party AV Providers
AV can take your meeting to the next level. However, how does one get the most bang for their buck? This session will address the intricacies of working with both in-house and outside third party AV providers.
