Brad Weaber - Chief Operating Officer, Connections Housing

Brad Weaber has nearly 30 years of meeting, events and hospitality industry experience, currently serving as Connections Housing's Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he served with the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau as the Executive Vice President. Weaber also served as EVP for association management company SmithBucklin’s largest division, Event Services, which includes Courtesy Associates, the meeting and event planning firm that he also over saw as its President. Prior, he was EVP and Chief Customer Officer for Experient, Inc. He also has held regional and senior vice president positions with Conferon Global Services and management roles at Renaissance Hotel.

Maureen Goodson, 
CMP - Executive Director, National Postal Forum

Maureen Goodson, CMP, is the Executive Director of the National Postal Forum. She has been employed by NPF for over 20 years. During this time she has had the oversight, management and financial responsibility of 25 citywide conventions with an average attendance of over 5,000 attendees. Prior to the Meetings Industry, Ms. Goodson was a Financial Consultant and a Branch Manager for a major Banking Institution for 14 years.

Sherry Romello
, CMP - Meeting Industry Consultant

Sherry Romello has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, primarily planning conventions and meetings for associations including NACS, National Apartment, National Association of Parks and Recreation and Chemical Distributors. Her last four years were spent with Hilton Worldwide in a position created to help Hilton better understand group customers and develop products to drive more group business to Hilton Worldwide.Sherry left Hilton late in 2015 and now works as a consultant on several international meetings.

Deborah M. Hamlin, CAE - Chief Executive Officer, Irrigation Association & Executive Director, Irrigation Foundation

Deborah Hamlin is chief executive officer of the Irrigation Association and executive director of the Irrigation Foundation. She has over 25 years of experience in working with professional and trade organizations. Under her guidance, the IA focuses on education and advocacy – ensuring competent professionals are designing, installing and maintaining irrigation systems and sharing the economic and environmental benefits of both agricultural and residential/commercial irrigation.


Anne Roth, CMP - Key Account Director, Intercontinental Hotels Group

Anne Roth, CMP is a Key Account Director for IHG, Intercontinental Hotels Group working the Association Group market. Anne’s experience in the meetings industry has been both above property in Global Sales and on property in Sales and Conference Service roles. Anne’s professional affiliations currently include MPI, ASAE and PCMA. Volunteerism is important to her, she most recently served on PCMA’s Global Task Force and the Convention Industry Council’s Room Block Piracy and Poaching. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
