2016 Food Lifeline - Community Service
We're excited to partner with Food Lifeline as this year's community outreach partner.
We'll be volunteering with Food Lifeline several times this year and our first opportunity will be on Tuesday, April 5th at 5:45pm in Shoreline. This will also be the last time to volunteer at their Shoreline facility before their new Hunger Solution Center opens in South Park.
If you're able to make it, please email Aaron Davis at email@example.com and we'll get you on the list!
If you're not in Seattle, not to worry! Food Lifeline is a proud member of the Feeding America network which works with food banks throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Montana. Where ever you live, we hope that you'll find time to volunteer in your community to help fight hunger and we hope you'll share your photos via our PCMA Chapter Facebook or Chapter Twitter feed @PCMA_pnw and we'll do the same!
Sort and Park Volunteer Opportunity
Tuesday, April 5th
5:45pm - 8:00pm
The Sort and Pack Evening volunteer session is designed to fit your busy schedule! For two hours, you will make a huge difference in the fight against hunger in Western Washington. Volunteers sort, process, and repack thousands of pounds of food that will go out to hungry neighbors in need. Food Lifeline receives many donations in bulk quantities which volunteers inspect, sort and repack into family size packages.
Great for volunteers age 6+ so consider bringing your kids!
We hope you can make it!
