Come join the Pacific and Southwest Chapter of PCMA in participating in one of our four fulfilling and rewarding community programs on Thursday, November 5th, 2015. Our chapter is organizing these events in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego in support of Service 'N Sync, the PCMA program that encourages its members to come together and give back to their local communities on behalf of the meetings industry.
LAS VEGAS, NV:
On Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 9:00am to 2:00pm,
participants will have the opportunity to volunteer at the Shade Tree
in several different activities: sorting and stocking donations (toiletries, clothing, accessories, etc.), volunteering in the Children's Activity Center (addressing special needs of children who are experiencing homelessness) and/or volunteering at Noah's Animal House (pet sanctuary for shelter residents).
There will be a networking reception afterwards from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Radio City Pizzeria.

LOS ANGELES, CA: On November 5, 2015 from 9am to 2pm,
volunteers will assist with building maintenance of a newly acquired apartment building at the Good Shepherd Shelter
(a transitional shelter for battered women & children that supports 12 families staying 14 to 16 months) in Los Angeles, CA. We will provide landscaping support as well as interior painting. The Shelter will provide all the necessary tool and supplies. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided for lunch.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA
On Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 1pm to 3pm,
we will volunteer at the Orange County Food Bank. We will work side-by-side to the beat of music packing food boxes that are distributed to hungry people in Orange County and surrounding areas. There are work assignments appropriate for volunteers of all ages and physical abilities. Come join your fellow PCMA members and industry colleagues for a day of camaraderie while giving back to our community.

SAN DIEGO, CA On Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 4pm to 6:30pm
, students and industry professionals will assemble blankets and make cards for the Veterans Home of California Chula Vista. After the event, there will be a networking opportunity. This event provide the opportunity for students to network with industry professionals while giving back for a good cause.
