          • Roberta Kravitz to share challenges associations and global medical societies are currently facing.
          • Udo Klawitter to present how corporation’s positions meetings within their company’s strategy and changing for the future.
          • Eduardo Chaillo to provide insights on how PCOs are evolving and their relationships with their clients.

How do planners make decisions on where they hold meeting?  What are local service expectations?  How do planners expect to work locally?  How can suppliers support attendance growth for congresses?  What is the role of the CVB?  Planners will share their insights on their expectations once a destination is selected and the planning is in motion for the local event.

          • Identify priorities in decision making from the planner perspective
          • Recognize how planners approach partnership opportunities locally and how you can better collaborate
          • Discover successful bidding experiences and best practice tips

Advisors will share where they see key market growth and analysis of opportunities.

          • Examine your current market positioning and identify necessary changes
          • Identify where global organizations are seeing their growth and potential risk areas
          • Gain insight into organizational change on how this may affect their meetings

Associations and corporations have very different needs and expectations when it comes to their meetings.  Hear from some of the most experienced in the industry on how they make decisions and the differences in their client services expectations. You will have the opportunity to have open dialogue with the advisors and pose your own questions in this game style format.

          • Recognize association and corporate models and the decision making process of each
          • Discover successful bidding experiences and best practice tips
          • Determine if your sales approach is appropriate and what changes can be made for greater success

Looking for quick tips from expert advisors?  Through this unique learning environment, attendees will have the opportunity to explore 4 different topics challenging the meetings industry with an advisory board member and discuss potential solutions and resources.

          • Tips in Contracts & Negotiations - Identify what North American and European planners expect in a contract, clauses they must include and areas that are non-negotiable - Udo Klawitter, Johnnie White
          • Medical Meetings - Understand how various Pharma Codes affect medical associations and their events - Roberta Kravitz
          • Technology Requirements of Venues - recognize planner technology expectations for venues and how you can support their needs – Klaus Span

Advisors to share their insights into the Colombian infrastructure and the potential for the country for business events.  This session will include open Q&A from the audience.

          • Determine how your organization can support the development and win more business for the country
          • Ask questions directly to global planners of their perception and experience in Colombia

15:45 – 16:00              Closing Solutions and Wrap                                                        

The group will recap key learnings and new solutions shared from the event, as well as outcomes and further education needs for the future.
