is responsible for the Society’s 40+ meetings & education
programs, including an annual meeting of over 8,000 participants. OUR PANEL: Christopher Wehking, CMP - PCMA President-Elect Director of Meetings & Exhibits, American Society of Anesthesiologists Chris began his industry career with Hilton Hotel
Corporation in Chicago. Next, he managed the global trade show and event
operations for the American Hardware Manufacturers Association, and
then managed scientific meetings and expositions for the American
Society of Plastic Surgeons. Now, he manages scientific programs and
exhibitions for the 50,000-physician-member American Society of
Anesthesiologists. Greg Edwards - Immediate Past Chair of DMAI, and
President & CEO of the Greater Des Moines CVB. As a travel industry
executive, Greg has led CVBs in Illinois, Kansas and Iowa as well as
spending 7 years with Marriott Hotels in Overland Park and Des Moines. Brendan “JB” Moreland - Director of Production, Vista Productions Considered one of the premier audio engineers/consultants
in the country, sought-after for his audio designs, JB focuses on the
emerging video technologies such as pixel mapping, projection mapping,
HD camera image magnification, blending projection, and development of
content in nonstandard formats. Brett C. Mitchel - General Manager Overland Park Convention Center Prior to his current position, Brett was the Vice
President of Convention Center Operations, Global Spectrum, and was
responsible for overseeing the company's convention center operations
throughout the US.
