As a meeting professional, you are charged with looking into the future when preparing your upcoming meetings and events. With so many day-to-day projects facing both staff and volunteer leaders, looking into the future and challenging the norm seems to often be the initiative that falls off the radar. Sue Pine, CAE, Director of Educational Services, Association Headquarters, Inc., AMC National Account, PHLCVB, will lead this session, which will allow attendees to learn about some recent industry trends, understand the nuances between strategic planning and environmental scanning, and even tips on how to start implementing a scanning process within their own organization!

Special Tribute
As many of you may know, our longtime friend and supporter of the GPPCMA, Betty Schultz, is retiring from ASTM. She has worked for ASTM for 43 years. She served as our 4th president and was responsible for much of our growth and success. Please join us in celebrating her accomplishments and share a laugh remembering this very special person.
