Patrick graduated from James Madison University with a B.B.A. in Hospitality and Tourism Management in May of 2011. Upon graduating, Patrick began working at the International Dairy Foods Association as the meetings assistant working on everything from registration and housing to logistics and marketing. Patrick also remained heavily involved in the regional Capital Chapter of PCMA.
In October of 2012, Patrick was hired on by the Professional Convention Management Association as their Specialist, Meetings and Events. His role includes handling all registration and housing for PCMA’s annual and mid-year conferences, logistics planning, and coordination of transportation, signage and shipping as well as being the lead planner on other meetings throughout the year, including PCMA’s Global Corporate Summit and the PCMA Education Foundation Partnership Summit. Patrick received his CMP designation in August 2013 and was recently promoted to Events Manager in February 2014.
