Easy to get to, easy to love
A mountain destination with stunning views of snowcapped peaks, Utah Valley has all of the scenic beauty of a remote Western meeting destination, but with the convenient, affordable access of nearby Salt Lake City International Airport. Visitors can easily access Utah Valley from the airport via light rail and Front-Runner commuter rail, which runs directly to downtown Provo. Throw in affordable accommodations and a hospitable atmosphere, and it's no wonder why Utah Valley is so highly sought after by meeting planners.
Most know Utah Valley for Robert Redford's Sundance Resort, Thanksgiving Point, and Brigham Young University, but the destination is also home to an array of other attractions. Eleven public golf courses, Timpanogos Cave National Monument, and blue-ribbon fishing on the Provo River offer relaxing outdoor escapes, and seven ski resorts, including Sundance Resort and Park City Mountain Resort, are just 45 minutes away. Shopaholics will love the new Outlets at Traverse Mountain, which offer plenty of designer bargains. And whether groups convene at the new LEED Silver-certified Utah Valley Convention Center or the adjacent, 330-room Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, historic downtown Provo sets the stage for unforgettable events.
