Join a Committee
PCMA's strongest asset is its membership and our member's willingness to share skills, knowledge and expertise. Putting that talent into action by volunteering for a committee can be your first step to an active role in PCMA.
Volunteering provides tremendous benefits including personal growth, professional development, building industry contacts and developing relationships with colleagues along the way.
Listed below are the committees on which you can sit. To volunteer, please complete the 2015 PCMA Southeast Chapter Volunteer Opportunities - Call to Action or contact Director/Volunteers, Kevin Belanger at email@example.com.

"I have been a long standing member of the PCMA SE Chapter and have served on the Board of Directors for over three years. Serving on the chapter BOD provides valuable opportunities by bringing together both planners and suppliers to work on issues relevant to the event industry. Being engaged and involved in chapter leadership is a highly rewarding experience and pays enormous dividends both professionally and personally. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone this challenging and fulfilling experience!"

Community Involvement PCMA SE Chapter 2015 Community Service: The Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children
is the main focus for our community service outreach and PCMA SE Chapter is scheduled to provide lunch two times per year (Spring and Fall). The Day Shelter works as part of the Atlanta Mission, which is the city’s largest and longest running provider of services to homeless men, women and children. Established in 1938, the non-profit organization provides emergency shelter, temporary shelter, recovery programming, job attainment and transitional housing to more than 950 individuals. Through our donation of lunch, we cook, serve and clean-up what may be the only hot meal that the people receive for that day.
Even if you are not able to help serve in 2015, please remember that the following are always “need items” for the shelter.
- Baby items like wipes, diapers and lotion
- Unused hotel amenities like soap and shampoo
- New, un-opened makeup
- Travel umbrellas
- Re-usable water bottles
Please contact Bernie Wilke at Bernie.firstname.lastname@example.org
if you have any items to donate.
