Being successful in our industry typically means that we move our audiences to some desired action (or behavior). Our defined event objectives, however, all-too-often focus on the executional aspects of producing an event and not on the actionable outcomes. To make our events as successful as possible, for all constituents, we must take the time to define what real success is and build a program that moves people to action.
