Leading Meeting Professionals

Professional Convention Management Association
Dear RMPCMA Members,

Welcome new RMPCMA members and thank you to all of our returning members. In 2014, the Rocky Mountain Chapter will continue to offer CEU-accredited educational programs and our “program on the road”.  RMPCMA will continue its traditions of fantastic social events which include quarterly coffee chats and the All Hearts Auction in February.

The primary goals for 2014

1.  Launch a monthly educational newsletter keeping our members up to date on all local and national information.

2. Provide groundbreaking industry education and networking opportunities for our members.

3. Engage, align and communicate local voices at the national level.

The Board and I challenge you to take advantage of the Chapter’s volunteer opportunities.  Did you know that it only takes 15 minutes of concentrated effort per day to accomplish an additional task?  We need you!  To make a difference in our industry and the community we live in, please join one of the RMPCMA committees. We are asking for 15 minutes to make a difference.

I am excited to continue the strong RMPCMA tradition of success. The strength of our organization is our members. The skills and talents all of you have will contribute to the continued legacy of success for RMPCMA. I encourage and challenge you to maximize the value from your membership with your hospitality industry colleagues by attending, participating and leading many of the events and committees that are available in 2014.

I invite you to contact me directly at jenn.kimbel@experient-inc.com with your thoughts, ideas and feedback.

Yours in Service,

Jenn Kimbel, CMP
