D. Bradley Kent, Sr.
Don Welsh, President and CEO of Choose Chicago announced the appointment of D. Bradley Kent to Senior Vice President of Sales & Services. Kent, 52, most recently served as the Vice President of Industry Relations for Freeman in Dallas, TX. He will join Choose Chicago on December 3, 2012.

Kent returns to Chicago after having served the last six years in senior business development and sales positions in both audio visual and exposition divisions with Freeman. Prior to this, he spent 26 years in the hotel industry in senior leadership roles with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels Corporation, including the Chicago-based national sales office and Hilton Chicago. More

Hayat Pronovost
Visit Orlando announced the appointment of Hayat Pronovost, CMP as Sr. National Sales Executive within the Convention Services and Sales Department.  Responsible for sales activities in the Midwest markets, Pronovost is based in Chicago, Ill., with her focus being association and corporate bookings into Orlando.

Mark Tunney
Mark Tunney, previously with Choose Chicago, is the new Assistant General Manager at the Union League Club in Chicago.

Douglas Dvorak
The Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau (FWCVB) has announced that Douglas Dvorak has been named Director of Sales-Midwest Region. Dvorak is based in Chicago, IL and began his new position in October 2012.

Dvorak has more than seventeen years of hotel and convention sales experience. Most recently, Dvorak served as National Convention Sales Manager with the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission Chicago office, where he increased new business bookings by 175,000 room nights. Dvorak’s background also includes serving as Director of Corporate Sales for the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau, Sales Manager for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts Chicago, Hyatt Regency Milwaukee and Wyndham Milwaukee Center Hotel. 

Peter Cronin
Event Logistics Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Cronin as Vice President of Global Sales. Peter is responsible for the development of new business ventures.

Prior to joining Event Logistics, Inc. Peter held the position of Director of National Accounts at Gaylord Hotels. He brings with him close to 30 years’ experience in global sales working with corporate and association customers throughout the U.S.
