Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, announces the expansion of its sales team by four, including PCMA member Dean Schultheiss
Schultheiss brings 18 years of conference and logistics management and 13 years of project management experience with him, encompassing work in the governmental, public policy non-profit and private sector environments. Most recently he was a Project Manager for Seamon Corporation where he managed the planning and execution of events for clients within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to Seamon, Schultheiss worked as a Project Manager for ICF International where he managed over 30 opportunities annually under ICF’s contracts with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs.
Turnberry Isle Miami appointed Kevin Rosa as director of sales and marketing for the 408-room resort in south Florida. Rosa is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of sales and marketing for the 300-acre property, developing new leisure and group sales business opportunities and working directly with all revenue-generating departments. An active member of the Society of Incentive Travel Executives, Rosa most recently served as director of marketing and sales for The Sagamore Resort on Lake George in Bolton Landing, N.Y. Prior, he held sales positions with The Cloister and The Lodge at Sea Island in Georgia; the esteemed Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.; and The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla. Rosa began his hospitality career with Hilton Hotels.
Skye Holyfield, a professional with well-established ties west of the Mississippi and an eclectic background in event planning, design, and sales, has joined the Krisam Group and Global Events Partners as a National Sales Manager in San Francisco. Krisam Group (Krisam) is the top national sales company representing over 250 unique Member Hotels and Global Events Partners (GEP) is a leading partnership of destination management companies (DMCs) worldwide.
Prior to joining Krisam, she spent nearly eight years with Santa Barbara -based Elite Meetings International, most recently as Regional Director, Planner Communications, building lasting relationships with meeting professionals and industry suppliers. Previously, she was an Account Executive with Stratus Performance Group, sourcing hotels for clients, negotiating rates, and providing on-site management. Stratus was acquired by Elite Meetings in 2006.
The Knowland Group, announced that Kelli O’Dell has joined the company as a National Sales Director, Professional Business Development. Ms. O’Dell’s book of business and customer relationships include meeting planners in the Greater Washington, D.C. market and portions of the Mid-Atlantic. In addition to assisting and serving her established clientele, Ms. O’Dell will be working closely with Knowland’s Sales Enhancement Team, using Knowland’s massive database of meeting planner information to deliver lead opportunities to hotels who are current Knowland clients. She will be assisting in closing and converting leads into definite business as well as generating additional leads from her own extensive client relationships, in addition to helping meeting planners negotiate group contracts.
