The Anaheim Convention Center is making it easy for you to visualize and plan your functions in their new outdoor Grand Plaza, set to open in January 2013, with their Design-It-Yourself interactive space planner. If you haven’t seen the drawings for this space, it is truly a magnificent addition. The street that once ran up to the convention center entrance, between the Hilton and the Marriott, has been closed off to accommodate this 100,000-square-foot outdoor multi-use special event space.
Convention organizers can hold dinners, concerts, dance parties or create a mind-blowing welcome experience for their attendees in this unique outdoor space. You can use the convention center’s new design tool, called Grand PlazaVille, to "drag and drop" an array of event elements – from stages to food stations, tents and tables and immediately see the results of your outdoor floor plan. Print or save and you’re on your way to an unforgettable attendee experience.
According to Charles Ahlers, president of the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, “Grand PlazaVille will allow planners the opportunity to use their imagination within the Grand Plaza and truly customize events to meet their exact specifications and see the results immediately.
