PCMA Member Gay Holden to DMI Hotels
Most recently the Director of Sales at Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Miami, FL, Gay Holden has been named Regional Director of Sales with DMI Hotels, responsible for developing meeting and incentive client accounts across the U.S.
Active in PCMA, Gay has been a member of the PCMA Education Conference Program Committee from 2009 to 2012.
PCMA Member Stuart Ruff to RIMS
The Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. has announced that Stuart L. Ruff, CMP will join the Society as its new director of meetings and events.
“RIMS conferences and events are an important outlet for the delivery of our thought leadership pieces, educational opportunities and the sharing industry best practices that is not only expected by our members but the profession at large,” said Mary Roth. “With a tremendous reputation in the meetings and events community and a wealth of experience choreographing large-scale events around the world, we’re extremely excited to welcome Stuart to RIMS.”
An active PCMA member, Stuart served on the Global Task Force 2010-2012 and will become president of PCMA's New York chapter in January, 2013.
Marketing Design Group Purchased by Hardcastle, Polito
Marketing Design Group (MDG) has been purchased by executive vice president, Kimberly Hardcastle, and president of VP International, Vincent Polito. As incoming president of MDG, Hardcastle will keep the agency wholly focused on its core competency—increasing trade show attendance through innovative, strategy-driven marketing and public relations campaigns.

Ovation Names Eduardo Chaillo Winner of the 2012 Ovation Huggability Award
Ovation Global DMC has named Eduardo Chaillo winner of its 2012 Huggabilty Award. The announcement was made today at IMEX America, Las Vegas where Eduardo was presented with a specially commissioned award by Ovation Vice Presidents Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan.
