Face to Face: Renaissance Nashville Hotel's 25th anniversary and more
The Renaissance Nashville recently celebrated that 25th anniversary with an evening to honor its customers, associates and city officials. More than 200 guests enjoyed a visual pictorial history of the hotel and Downtown Nashville; highlights ranged from hosting presidents and country music stars to welcoming professional sports teams and national headquarters to the city. In addition, guests were treated to a performance by rising country music artist Sarah Darling.
The 25-floor Renaissance Nashville was one of the first high-rise hotels in Downtown Nashville when it opened its doors in August 1987. “The Renaissance family, some of whom have been with us since our beginnings, has taken great delight in both participating and watching the downtown area transform from a near empty retail area to a vibrant business and tourism landmark,” said John Fleming, General Manager. “We're proud to be a part of Music City, employing 400 associates, giving back to the community and providing excellent service to our guests.” More
