Join us on April 10th for “Generational Differences = Opportunities,” to be held at the Hilton Philadelphia Airport.

For the first time in American history we have four different generations working side-by-side. The differences among these generations can affect everything we do in our profession, including recruiting, building teams, dealing with change, motivating and managing people, and maintaining and increasing productivity. 

The way co-workers communicate is one area where generational differences may promote the most misunderstandings, creating challenges which in turn can negatively impact the organization’s product or clientele. Learning how to work with each generation and understand their perspective can help eliminate these challenges and create opportunities. Therefore, let the conversation begin! During the event you will be engaging with attendees from different generations, and discussing and sharing your challenges and/or opportunities to help fill the generational gap.  

Prior to the meeting, the GPPCMA Community Services Committee is looking for volunteers to help make gift baskets for the Presbyterian Children’s Village. This organization provides a comprehensive range of prevention, child welfare, therapeutic, and educational services and programs to help heal the spirits of children, families, and communities in crisis. The Village nurtures the individual, encourages healthy familial ties, and strengthens the communities of the Greater Philadelphia region. By giving just a few more minutes of your time prior to the scheduled April program, you will help us make a direct impact on the lives of these children.
