Mixing It Up With MPI Wisconsin

Greater Midwest Chapter

Why travel to Madison, Wisconsin to the May 14th Member Mixer? Jeff Holcomb, Senior Sales Manager with the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau and member of the GMC Membership Committee, has the answer: “Having the reception in Madison with the MPI Wisconsin chapter provides a tremendous networking opportunity for members and other industry professionals. PCMA’s Greater Midwest Chapter mixers like this help serve the 1,200 members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin who may not be able to attend chapter events in Chicago.”

The complimentary reception, scheduled for May 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m., is open to both GMC and MPI Wisconsin members. It will be held at Monona Terrace in Madison.

The mixer precedes MPI Wisconsin’s Education Day, also at Monona Terrace, on Thursday, May 15. The registration fee is $119. Hear from speakers on these topics:

  • Your Road Map to CSR
  • Green event trends
  • Bandwidth or Bust
  • Location Services for Events
Jeff Hurt from Velvet Chainsaw will provide the keynote on “How to Be Lean, Mean & Green at Your Next Event: Three Green Philosophies to Consider.”

Conference Hotels are the Sheraton Madison and Hilton Monona Terrace.
