Community Service

Sunday November 20th – 10:00am – 12:00pm

Help support the Association of New Canadians. The most eastern part of Canada has recently welcomed 32 families with 175 children to make Canada their home.  The Canadian Innovation Conference will show their true Canadian hearts by saluting them through their children.  The Association provides after school programs for five schools for these children in grades 1-6.  The children love craft time but supplies are low so we’re going to get them stocked up!  Those who participate will gather and together create craft kits that will unlock a child’s imagination and keep play in their lives.  Materials will be provided. Additional Fee Required

Welcome Reception

Sunday November 20th - 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Sponsored by Destination St. John’s

Reception at the Rooms

Join us in immersing yourself in the local culture and spirit at Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest public cultural space. It’s the place where it all comes together – the history, heritage and artistic expression. A place for people, The Rooms unites the provincial archives, art gallery and museum and is a portal to the many stories our province has to tell. Soaring into the skyline of historic St. John’s, its unique design mirrors “fishing rooms” and offers panoramic vistas of St. John’s. During this networking reception enjoy local food and beverage with musical stylings of the spirit that is Newfoundland!
