The GMC Program Committee brings us more creative programming with the September 9 program “Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Data? An interactive session to help you approach your data
Data gathered in the Events Industry can and should be utilized to build knowledge of your attendees and sponsors/exhibitors. This session will provide a vision of Big Data in the world today, how you can effectively tap into sources of data and how best to utilize this information.
The September Quarterly Education Program will be held at VenueOne at 1044 W. Randolph in Chicago on Tuesday afternoon, September 9. Find complete details and register here
We’ve added an option to donate gift cards directly via registration. GMC-PCMA will purchase the cards on behalf of Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly.
The charity serves elderly in the Chicagoland area. The Community Services Committee is looking for small gift cards for Walgreens, Jewel, CVS, Walmart or restaurants like Applebee’s – places seniors might enjoy.
A donation table will be open during registration at the September 9 meeting.
Carry on the Conversation at Regional Mix and Meets
The Membership Committee has also planned activities in conjunction with the September meeting. Besides the Member Mixer immediately following the September 9 program, the committee is “Continuing the Conversation - A mix and meet.” The committee has scheduled three “Mix and Meets” to recap and discuss the September GMC PCMA educational program.
