Kevin Barosso

Destination Hotels & Resorts, Englewood, Colorado, has appointed Kevin Barosso assistant vice president of national sales. Barosso most recently served as director of group sales at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Robert Wood

Connections Housing has appointed Robert Wood to the newly created post of  Vice President of Sales, South Central Region. Wood now joins Robert Colvin, Vice President of Sales, West Coast Region, and Tracy Barrett Janosko, Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region, in overseeing all new business opportunities in their respective territories for the growing meeting management housing company.

Brad Weaber

Stephen Perry, president and CEO of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau (NOCVB), announced that Brad Weaber, CMP, a 25-year meeting industry veteran, who has served as executive vice president of both SmithBucklin and Experient, will become the  executive vice president (EVP) of the NOCVB, a newly created position, effective August 1.

Jaclyn Weinstein

The Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) has appointed Jaclyn Weinstein to the new position of Director of Business Development, North America, Chief Executive Officer Karen Bolinger announced. Ms Weinstein’s appointment follows the engagement of Myriad Marketing as the organisation’s new representation agency for North America, announced in December last year as part of MCB’s new Strategic Business Plan, which aims to position Melbourne as one of the world’s premier business events destinations.

Adrienne Nudo and Tim O¹Brien

The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau (SACVB) announced the addition of two National Convention Sales Managers to its Chicago office. Bringing In the Heart Meetings to Chicago will be Adrienne Nudo and Tim O¹Brien.

Nudo and O¹Brien will be responsible for coordinating group sales efforts with major trade associations and corporations based in the Chicago market area. San Antonio has long maintained a Chicago office, but is now growing its presence there with two key sales staff to maintain and increase visibility to this key region.
