The Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Phoenix has appointed Steven Horowitz director of sales. Horowitz most recently was director of sales and resort marketing at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa in the Cayman Islands has appointed Marti Trieschmann director of sales and marketing. Trieschmann previously was the area director of sales and marketing for the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, an Official Walt Disney World Resort, as well as Orlando Vista Hotel.
The Epicurean Hotel announced the appointment of Brandon Marshall as the Director of Sales of the 137-room boutique hotel scheduled to open in December 2013. In this position, Marshall will oversee and manage group, leisure and business markets for the Epicurean, which is currently being constructed in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa, Fla. He will create and execute an overall sales and marketing strategy and develop and oversee new programs and the budget for the department. The Epicurean is being developed in collaboration with Mainsail Lodging & Development and the legendary Bern’s Steak House, and will be the first newly constructed hotel property in the United States to join the prestigious Autograph Collection® of Marriott International, Inc.
Experience Arlington announced that Ronnie Price has been chosen to lead the city’s destination marketing organization into the next phase of success.
Price comes to Arlington with over 16 years of hospitality leadership, sales and marketing experience. Most recently, he worked for the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau where he served for five years as Assistant Executive Director of Sales & Marketing. During his time there, he was responsible for a $20 million annual budget and 44,000 hotel rooms.
