PCMA Student Membership

As a student preparing to launch your career in the meetings industry, we invite you to consider membership with PCMA. For more than 50 years, PCMA has provided its members with the essential benefits they need to learn, connect and grow in the meetings industry. As a PCMA student member, you'll have access to vital tools necessary for your professional development. Whether you are seeking educational resources, networking opportunities, scholarships or internship opportunities, PCMA membership is an important next step in launching your career!

Student membership is available at a rate of $40 to students enrolled in a post secondary academic program directly related to hospitality or meeting management.

The student must be:

  • enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
  • more than six months from their anticipated graduation date

  • PCMA Chapters - Student members automatically become members of one of the 17 PCMA chapters, located throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. Your university may already have an official student chapter, or you can start your own.
  • PCMA Membership Directory - Access a worldwide network of more than 6,000 industry leaders via pcma.org. Search for members by location, company or name.
  • Convene® Magazine - Stay on top of industry trends with your free subscription to PCMA's award-winning journral ($50 value). Available online in digital format.
  • Online Learning Center - Sessions from various PCMA educational programs are available to members. A great way to earn CEUs.
  • PCMA Convening Leaders - Student members can receive discounted rates to many educational and networking programs, including this annual event. It's the perfect setting to network with peers, industry leaders and participate in sessions specifically designed to meet your needs.
  • Communications - Receive weekly e-newsletters, including ThisWeek@PCMA and Upcoming@PCMA as well as other information about industry news and events.
  • Student Scholarships - The PCMA Education Foundation offers opportunities for scholarships available exclusively to PCMA students. Apply to receive one of the many tuition based scholarships or to attend PCMA Convening Leaders.
  • $100 Graduation Rate - Student members can stay involved after they graduate by taking advantage of the $100 rate offered by PCMA for three consecutive years after graduation. Current student members who are within six months of their graduation date or their membership expiration date are eligible for this offer.
