New CMP Study Group Forming

New CMP Study Group Forming The next CMP Exam will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 in various cities across the country, including Denver.

Orientation for the next Denver Area Study Group will be Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 at 6:00pm at a location TBD. Please contact either of the group leaders for confirmation. The study group will then meet each Wednesday evening consecutively, commencing with a practice test on Wednesday, August  6, 2008, followed by the actual CMP exam that following Saturday. Including orientation, regular study group sessions, and the practice test, the study group will meet 8 times prior to the CMP test on August 9, 2008.

Each session will be hosted by (2) different industry professionals who have earned their CMP designation. Each week there are chapters and glossary pages assigned from the reading material and each participant will be guided to create questions the group will discuss the following week. The study group is designed to be informal and to promote discussion.

It is important that candidates obtain the proper study materials now, so they are ready to take part in the study group. Candidates can visit the CIC's website at www.conventionindustry.orgfor a full list of recommended study materials.
