Peggy Swisher is Convene^®'s managing editor, involved in producing, editing, and writing Convene^® and its supplements. She was a senior editor at Successful Meetings for two years, and prior to that served as the content manager for the Times Square Millennium (New York City) Web site. As an associate editor for National Jeweler, she was a finalist for the 1999 Neal Award from the American Business Press for her investigative coverage into the color enhancement of diamonds in Moscow, Russia. She began her career as a newspaper journalist, working as a general assignment reporter, features writer, and lifestyle editor. She earned her bachelor's degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh, with a minor in theater.
