Sue M. Dykema, CAE, is Deputy Executive Director of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the leading organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery. Sue also serves as Executive Director of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, an affiliate organization of nurses and aestheticians employed by plastic surgeons.
Since joining ASAPS in 1996, Sue's responsibilities include all areas of educational programming, annual meeting logistics, corporate sponsorship solicitation, policy development, fiscal accountability, and strategic planning for both organizations.
Prior to joining ASAPS, Sue spent 13 years as Vice President of Operations for a medical convention audio and video recording company.
A PCMA member since 1997, Sue is a Past President of the Southwest and Pacific Chapter of PCMA and has served in many roles on the chapter level as well as nationally on the Annual Meeting Program and Nominating Committees. In 2003, she was a recipient of PCMA's Outstanding Service to a Chapter Award and earned her CAE designation.
