The Bold New World of Convention Exhibits and Tradeshows
An examination of five models for future viability and success
The initial exhibit and tradeshow model was built before the internet, email, Google, social media and the expectation of instant gratification. In this original model, buyers had to wait 12, 24 or even 36 months to meet face-to-face with suppliers to seek out new products, solutions and innovations. Those days are long gone. Today, with the click of a few key strokes, buyers can obtain immediate answers and quotes to their queries. They can be in their office, on the train or at the beach to retrieve their data.
Translation: The future success of convention exhibits and tradeshows will not be "one size fits all".
For this insightful Masters Series program, PCMA has partnered with Jeff Leitner, of The Insight Labs, and Bryan Campen, of Manifest Digital, to explore five new exhibit/tradeshow models that can position your organization to align with your participants' changing behaviors. You'll be asked to determine the model that best aligns with your organization's strategic goals and objectives and join a collaboration pod to formulate a model adoption strategy.
Key Takeaways:
• Identify the exhibit model critical to your future success
• Discover model design principles to help you plan for and anticipate rapid change
• Acquire best practices for the exhibits and tradeshows of the immediate future
• Gain core tools to create a proactive, rather than reactive, mindset to your exhibits strategy
Conducted in an innovative and highly interactive environment, using audience response and featuring video vignettes of experts inside and outside of the exhibit world, you as an attendee will truly become a participant in your future.
