Chapter Corner

Capital Chapter Keeps Busy Serving Community
The Capital Chapter of PCMA made a huge impact in the Washington, D.C. area by donating $3,185 to the USO, volunteering for Bright Beginnings, and participating in several other projects. Chapter members will continue their efforts throughout 2008 by arranging projects for the Ronald McDonald House, the USO, and Gospel Ministries. Visit the chapter's Web site www.pcma.org/DC to find out how you can get involved.

SKIING FOR SANTOS

The Canada East Chapter Holds its Second Annual Ski Event to Raise Money for Luis Santos' Children
In November 2006, Luis Santos, after being a strong Canada East Chapter member over the years, made the move to become more involved with PCMA by joining the 2007 Board of Directors for the Canada East Chapter. Unfortunately, Santos passed away suddenly in December 2006, leaving his family, friends, and colleagues stunned. The chapter board decided to go ahead with a planned ski event in 2007 in memory of Santos and donated the proceeds of the event to an education fund for his children. On Feb. 21, 2008 more than 30 chapter members hit the slopes again to pay tribute to Santos and raise money for his children's educational fund.
