As a Chapter we are committed to supporting future industry leaders through our scholarship program with area community colleges & universities by providing endowments to students pursuing careers in the meetings industry. Justin Toth, Department of Athletics, University of Guelph - "Congratulations" go to Justin who was the recipient of the new PCMA "Emerging Leader Award" which was presented at the 2012 Annual Meeting in San Diego. This new award is to identify and honor an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary service and leadership early in her/her career.

Justin has been a guiding light and mentor to the student members in both Canada East and Canada West and we are proud to have him as our Director of Student Affairs for the Canada East Chapter!  Justin has also recently joined the University of Guelph as their Intramurals, Clubs, Camps and Community Leagues Coordinator.  He was formerly with the 2012 Toronto Para-Pan Am Games.

PCMA Canada East is proud to offer scholarships for both Meeting Planners and Students!

NEW 2011 Planner Member Scholarship Winner!  Congratuations Helene Samson, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Canada!  We are pleased to announce the lucky winner of our draw is Helene Samson.  Helene will be attending the PCMA Annual Meeting "Convening Leaders" taking place in San Diego, California, January 8-11, 2012.

2011 Starwood Hotels & Resorts Annual Meeting Student Scholarship Recipient!  Congratulations Amber Jones, Niagara College.  We are pleased to announce that Amber is the recipient of the student scholarship!  Amber will be attending the PCMA Annual Meeting "Convening Leaders" taking place in San Diego, California, January 8-11, 2012.
