Headquarter Volunteer Opportunities

Foundation Volunteer Oppportunities

PCMA Headquarters volunteer appointments are made by the PCMA Chair-elect. Terms officially begin January 1*, and end during the PCMA Annual Meeting, of the next year. Volunteer appointments are made based on your past involvement and participation as a PCMA volunteer, indication of skills and strengths, and the needs of PCMA. Every effort will be made to make use of your time and talents in a way that will be meaningful to you and beneficial to PCMA.

*The Education Conference Committee will hold their initial committee meeting in November

PCMA Headquarters Volunteer Opportunities

  • Committee asssignment: Group appointed to work in support of PCMA's goals and objectives as defined in the strategic plan
  • Task Force assignment: Group appointed to address a specific issue for a specific period of time

PCMA Education Foundation Volunteer Opportunities

  • Task Force Assignment: Various groups appointed to support the PCMA Education Foundation's fundraising events and activities

Volunteer Appointment Process

Once you complete the Volunteer Form, you can expect the following:

  • August 31st: Call for Volunteers closes
  • Early November: Volunteers are e-mailed details of assignments and will be asked to submit Commitment to Serve and Conflict of Interest forms prior to beginning their committee service
  • January: First in-person meeting at PCMA Annual Meeting
